We do electrical work like replacing a light fixture or hanging a chandelier. We can put in under-counter lighting or new recessed lighting fixtures, in your kitchen, bathroom or basement. Do you have a ceiling fixture that seems to be broken? We can either fix it or replace it. Sometimes the switch is the culprit, we can diagnose the problem and get you back in operation again. We’ve helped many people with electrical repairs.
Do you have an unfinished area that you want to drywall. We can help with the drywall but also by adding new receptacles along each wall.
Maybe you just need new receptacles or switches to replace what’s there. Faulty switches cause fires and all kinds of trouble. If you’re having a problem with a switch, changing it out is the right thing do. Give us a call and we’ll get it done for you.
Why not replace that dripping or leaking faucet with a new one that has a lifetime warranty? Sometimes it’s the connecting pipes that are the culprit. Either supply or drain pipes can leak. A leaking faucet, drain, supply line or shutoff valve can be fixed or replace. Why let it continue and ruin the cabinet floor beneath it? So it’s best to replace what’s broken and fix the problem right away.
Or maybe you want to change a faucet style to something modern as part of a kitchen or bathroom upgrade. No problem, no job is too small, we’ll be glad to help you.
Do you have a toilet that moves around or that’s leaking? It’s probably not as bad as you thing to fix the problem. Leaking water is not only unclean but it damages everything it touches. The problem can be an uneven floor or a rusted and broken toilet flange. A broken flange can be replaced and an uneven floor can be shimmed and the toilet re-seated. Whichever we can eliminate the problem fast.
Or maybe your toilet isn’t working properly, like it continues to run. Do you know that problem can double your water bill? Most of the time it can be fixed, so let’s have a look at it. Sometimes, if the toilet is older, it’s smarter to just remove and replace it. Older toilets can start to leak from moving things because the seals have dried out. In either case let’s get it fixed, so give us a call today.
Ceramic tiles floors can be installed over wood or concrete and add an elegant look and are extremely versatile. That’s because as a flooring they’re easy to clean and water won’t damage it. So it’s a great choice for a bathroom, kitchen, laundry area, or entrance foyer.
Ceramic is of course the best material to use as a back-splash behind a kitchen or bathroom counter. There are so many styles to choose from and we have worked with them all. This, as with all ceramic tile work, has to be done carefully.
Additionally, ceramic tiles are popular as a tub surround and both look great and provide lasting durability. It’s important to strip the walls down to the studs and install and seal cement board as a base for the tile. This is important because any water that gets behind the tile will destroy drywall but can’t harm the cement board.
There are some less expensive options for tiles. You can get subway tiles for about $8 sq ft at the tile stores.
If grout is missing for a long time water will get behind them and ruin everything. But we can still do repairs by replacing maybe just 1 wall in the shower, if that’s sufficient. You’ll have to get a tile that either matches or you can live with. If you re-grout before damage occurs you can prevent the damage. We can help with either of these situations.
When you have the need for hanging a ceiling fan, or centering a picture on a wall, we are there to assist you. We can clear a clogged drain, install new kitchen appliances. Or we can mount your new TV on the wall and make the wires disappear. Whatever the situation, I do handyman work near the Havertown and Drexel Hill area. Please give me a call. Below are some projects we’ve done.
